Hello all!

I'm a reporter with Columbia News Service, and I'm working on a story about how bridal magazines may have (or may have not) changed since the same-sex marriage legislation was passed last June.

I'm hoping to find folks out there who have been trying to plan a same-sex wedding and found very few magazines to turn to for help or ideas before they found this website. Most of the articles and ads in these magazines still feature primarily opposite-sex couples. As a lesbian, transsexual, or gay person, how does this make you feel while you're planning your wedding? Does it bother you, or do you not pay it much notice? Do you think same-sex wedding stories and imagery should be included in bridal magazines, or addressed separately in their own publications?

If you have a story or opinion you're willing to share, please feel free to comment here or send me an email at mes2256@columbia.edu.

Thanks everyone in advance for your input!
